If you are Mac guy, go ahead and purchase the same for $29.99 but what if you are a PC guy. If this is the popularity of the OS, then you must be thinking to hands on the Lion. Within 24 hours of release, Apple reported that more than 1 million purchases and downloads happened for this new OS from Mac App Store. I love my macbook, but my company works on Windows 7 PCs, so I have to be able to make this connection.Last week, Apple released new Mac operating system named Lion 10.7 which is having more than 250 new features. I'm running Lion (10.7.5), and I'm seeing that, although some people say that RDC 2.1.1 doesn't work on Lion, there are those that say it works for them no problem. I'm not really sure what's happening here. Icon spinning to show that it's thinking. I can connect in to my company's LAN with no problems, using Cisco An圜onnect VPN 3.1, but when I start RDC 2.1.1 and give it my computer's name (or IP address) it will sit there forever before coming back and saying "". Note "icrosoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac (version2.1.1) is not intended for use with Mac OS X v10.7 (Lion) or later." If the newest version works well, you can ignore the If it is the truth that it is not working well with newest version, you can at least use Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2.0.1. I know our Mac admin doesn't like what has been changed in it. Thinking maybe the new 10.7.4 update broke something. Was wondering if anyone caught wind of any issues on Lion. It works for me too however I'm beginning to get reports of it not working right for some Lion users.
